MOAR record labels' catalog updates 2: Quality Control HQ Records (UK)

Note: Make a PC maintenance regularly.
Coucou, les chaton.ne.s! We're back with the second part of some record labels' catalog updates special week. I don't have so much time so, let's get started.

Quality Control HQ Records (UK)
https://qualitycontrolhq.bandcamp.com/
This UK-based hardcore punk record label has been featured in the blog since long time ago. You know, back in the days when the ever intriguing New Wave Of British Hardcore - NWOBHC movement arose. Indeed, this record label has been responsible of releasing different records belonging to that aforementioned trend and, of course, most of them have been featured in here as some of best picks of previous years. In fact, as of November 2019, there aren't exceptions and most of the featured records in this entry will be awarded as la crème de la crème as well. Finally, don't forget to click on the image above for getting redirected to the official bandcamp account. Let's see what we've got.
1) Inspector (Belgium) - Demo 2019
https://qualitycontrolhq.bandcamp.com/album/demo-2019
This is the demo from this interesting Brussels-based hardcore band. Just like many other musical outfits from the record label's catalog such as Big Cheese and Rapture, Inspector resurfaces the good ol' 80s NYHC style everyone loves and makes it valuable for todays standards. Indeed, this will remind you of unbeatable classics such as Breakdown, Killing Time, Outburst and Cro-Mags, for naming a few with the same outspoken and undisputed attitude they're known for. Historically speaking, the flemish part of Belgium has overshadowed the french speaking one and has been since long time ago the de facto hardcore/punk HQ in the country so, Inspector will defy that long tradition with this superb demo. Can't wait to listen to an upcoming full-length album. Finally, click on the image above for getting redirected to their official bandcamp account where you can listen to this band. A potential candidate for our best picks of this year. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
2) Payday (UK) - Second To None LP

This London-based straight edge hardcore punk powerhouse is back with this impressive 2-track teaser for their upcoming and LONG-awaited full-length album. This time around, their sound still retains the metallic traits inherited from the Clevo hardcore scene in the late 80s/early 90s (Integrity (early recordings), Mayday, Confront, etc.) but more reckless and relentless than before. In fact, the featured song Whitewash is a re-recorded song from their demo, which was one of our best picks of 2017. On the other hand, the second track, Whitewash II, is a brand new one. Can't wait for the LP. Finally, click on the image above for getting redirected to their official bandcamp account where you can listen to this band. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
3) Mere Mortal (UK) - The Second Generation Of Divine Beings Demo
https://qualitycontrolhq.bandcamp.com/album/the-second-generation-of-divine-beings-demo
Mere Mortal is back with their mind-crushing hardcore punk which draws influences from crossover thrash and stenchcore (you know, the original crust punk sound) mostly. Unlike other NWOBHC acts, this one is the perfect soundtrack for an orgy in hell where Bolt Thrower and Sacrilege are condemned to play endlessly. Also, in this demo, the metallic influences are more prominent, pretty reminiscent of thrash metal gods such as Obituary (US) and Onslaught (UK). But don't worry, the "core" element still is audible. Can't wait for more material coming from this band. Finally, click on the image above for getting redirected to their official bandcamp account where you can listen to this band. A potential candidate for our best picks of this year. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
4) Imposter (UK) - Crown of Horns EP

This Brighton-based also impressed us back in 2017 with a superb demo, which also was part of our best picks list of that year. Against all odds, they're final-fuckin'-ly back and also are currently working on their LONG-awaited upcoming LP but, in the meantime, they deliver this humble EP as an apéro. So, this 4-track record retains their interesting mix of bostonian hardcore style and UK82. Yeah, this is the wet dream any hardcore punk enthusiastic surely has dreamt about since the 80s. Some of the advantages of this postmodern world, right? NWOBHC has made lots of hardcore wishes come true. Can't wait for the LP. Finally, click on the image above for getting redirected to their official bandcamp account where you can listen to this band. A potential candidate for our best picks of this year. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
5) Stages In Faith (UK) - Delside LP

We finally conclude this entry with the debut full-length album from this impressive London-based band. Featuring members of other NWOBHC powerhouses such as Frame Of Mind, Blind Authority, Mourning and Splitknuckle, this band explores the post-hardcore territory drawing different influences from the Revolution Summer movement, melodic hardcore and pop-punk (the latter when it was cool ha ha). Think of a mix of Lifetime, Farside and Soul Side. Unlike other NWOBHC acts, this one could give you the impression that is less aggressive but their style still is intense, complex and overwhelming enough to soothe the inner beast of hardcore pvnx always craving for nonsensical displays of sonic madness. Finally, click on the image above for getting redirected to their official bandcamp account where you can listen to this band. This is definitely a potential candidate for our best picks of this year. Highly recommended. Enjoy and until next time. Kisses and hugs!
